i wouldnt touch a samsung plasma, especially when your comparing it to the panasonic.

The only plasma i like better than the panasonics are the pioneer kuro's but their hella expensive.

the panasonice have some of the best reviews out there for a balanced natural picture, low power consumption, low heat output which would generally lead to a longer life span.

Go panasonic on plasma or bust.

Bought all Pannys this year including the 58" you listed. I have been very happy with the Pannys and as others said, it rates with the Pioneer. Go Panny and go Blu!

Bottom line excellent set for HD.

Gee I wish my kids get me a plasma when they are 23!.

(Damn I feel old because one of them is only 8 years away. )

Panasonic definately. Samsung plasmas are a bit weak, and Pannys are the best consumer brand for plasma (Pioneer I don't consider a "consumer brand" for plasma)
