Some of my favorite DVD releases are from Criterion, I would gladly buy many of their titles if released on BD.

i think criterion is referring to 'high def video' when they say HD. criterion are probably the best restoration studio there is, but whats the point of releasing a 3-disc version of Seven Samurai when the package could have easily fit on a blu-ray disc? they're probably trying to milk the market, and Seven Samurai will be released in BluRay several months down the road.
