DTS HD and DDTHD Decoding.. - Blu-ray Forum

sorry..no one is helping me out in home theartre..so my question is this.. I have a Sony STR810 but i can't get DDTHD or DTS HD...no i know my BD player doesn't have DTS HD but it does do DDTHD. My dad has the same receiver only he has a ps3 so it decodes the DDTHD and DTS HD Via the ps3 and outputs it into the reciver for beautiful lossless sound..now does any BD player decode DDTHD or DTS HD besides the ps3? Or am i going to be buying a ps3 in the future..again..lol

The PS3 currently decodes Dolby Digital, DTS (1.5Mbps core on BD), Dolby TrueHD if you let it. Via HDMI of course.

Panny BD30 and the Sharp player allow DTS HDMA and TrueHD passthrough via HDMI as well as decoding TrueHD internally.
