These were all blind buys for me
Ghost Rider - good special effects but bad movie
Mr. Brooks - it was bogof
From Hell - bogof
The Untouchables
Blade Runner - there was a lot of hype surrounding it
Close Encounters of the 3rd kind - lot of hype surrounding it

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Very annoying flicker throughout the Blu-ray. Seriously, it's so bad that I won't watch this Blu-ray again. Whenever I watch this movie, I will be watching the DVD instead of the Blu-ray that I own.

Silent hill as a movie.
And I was expecting much more from Terminator II. Better PQ and extended edition.

I was quite angry with oceans 13 PQ as well as Italian job PQ. 300 was sort of a bummer too. I hope they re-release that without fake grain someday.

No problem, the best part of the movie was grendel just because he was so horrible it was funny. The actor wore this terrible muscle suit and hit people on the head alot.

The Invisible: A "Ghost" rip-off that probably went direct to disc and makes up for poor acting by unknowns by lots of bee bop music. The most emotionless bunch of trite writing, acting and producing I've seen in a long time. Ugghh.

Smallville season 6.

I like the show, but...

> The picture was soft and grainy
> The sound was bad
> No top menu

HD DUD add-on for my POS Loud Xbox 360 Elite. Still have not received my free movies yet. (Out of stock, they say) Oh well, I'll never have used it yet anyway. I'll just sell it off with my unopened Transformers.

Love my PS3 80gb...(Quite)

Keep doing the Blu!!!

For a movie that wasn't too old I'd say Dracula

Wrong! old movies can look fantastic. The Warriors, a 1979 movie, looks better than many new releases.

Unless you mean the oldest Blu-ray releases, the original first ones like Fifth Element (not the Remastered one) and Terminator.

And as for the original question: Evil Dead 2 is the worst looking Blu-ray I have seen, it leaves me wondering if Starz did a bad job on the transfer or if this is as good as it can look.

What do you mean, picture quality of the original film or of the Blu-ray transfer?

I think the worse visually would be films with outdated graphics. They show up so much clearer that it makes them even more unbelievable!
