Region Coding for PS3... - Blu-ray Forum

Hi--not sure if this has already been posted ( apologies if it has )--ive been told this morning that some region A discs ( by lions gate ) that are supposed to be region locked will play in uk ps3--when wrong region message comes up on the screen - the X button is pressed on the controller or ps3 remote which takes you to the films main menu and you can watch the film from there---is this true????

Stir of Echos, T@, toatal Recall all say Region 1 (?) but play perfectly on UK PS3's.

It’s not the Lionsgate Films you can hack, it’s the US New Line Cinema films
