Nothing has said about these two but i suspect them to be part of FOX's lineup for 2008. I think sometime during the summer(imo). Hopefully they come out this year

Is there any update on these as to when they will be released or any news what so ever?

Check the "movies" section of this site. There's a spot for X2, but the release date is still TBA.

Bill Hunt mentioned a fall release for the full trilogy. I took this with a grain of salt then because he also brought up that Super Troopers was coming too. But now that Super Troopers has a date (non official) I have a feeling we'll see X-Men 1 and 2 this year, Sept-Oct-Nov range

It's been a couple of months since the last post in this thread. Any updates since then on a release date?

Not as of yet. But it's a certainty we'll probably see them on Blu-Ray before May.

Take it easy X3 should've been a lot better than what it was, but is also should have been a lot worse.

So anyone thinking X Trilogy on Blu-Ray in time for Christmas

I agree. Thats what happens when you replace Brian Singer with Brett Ratner.

Last rumors I heard were that X1 and X2 were due December this year, but may have been postponed to closed to be closer to the Wolverine movie release in May.
