Sure did, it was his auto-biography. He called it that 'cause he was typecast as Spock and so he hated that alter-ego. 'cause it limited the types of roles he was offered.

So there WAS two different re-makes. One played by Nimoy and one version played by Spock! Facinating!

That's what I've been trying to tell you. They were both re-makes of each other.

IMDb lists 64 productions of Hamlet and 27 productions of A Christmas Carol plus 3 for Christmas Carol.
32 Romeo and Juliets.
46 for Macbeth.
26 for A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Sounds like Hamlet might be the winner. Did Spock ever play Hamlet?

LOL...it depends on how you look at it. As many have said "There are only seven basic stories in film, so everything's a remake in those terms." In other words, everything is a remake, they are just remade with a different twist.

I think Spock played Romeo and Leonard Nimoy played Juliet. At least that's what imdb says.

You may be right, (especially if you count amateur films, student films, etc.) but IMDb lists 41 for Cinderella.
