So there WAS two different re-makes. One played by Nimoy and one version played by Spock! Facinating!

IMDb lists 64 productions of Hamlet and 27 productions of A Christmas Carol plus 3 for Christmas Carol.
32 Romeo and Juliets.
46 for Macbeth.
26 for A Midsummer Night's Dream.

LOL...it depends on how you look at it. As many have said "There are only seven basic stories in film, so everything's a remake in those terms." In other words, everything is a remake, they are just remade with a different twist.
