Something wierd with my PS3 today - Blu-ray Forum

I went to fire up my PS3 today and something wierd happend today. I fired my PS3 and everything reset like I had just hooked up my PS3.

I had to go through the setup again:

1. Do I want HDMI to accept both audio and video: yes
2. I had to set up that I wanted 720p (V) and PCM (A)

This is not a hardship by any means but talk about a heart attack for but all is well.

Note to moderators

Yes I know I have exactly the same post in two different sections but please don't erase either of them. I feel this post belongs in both sections since I use the PS3 for movies and games. Plus I will have more of a shot of some one knowing what went wrong

haha maybe you held the ps3 power for a sec too long? or maybe there was a power outage in your house? that could have caused it.. glad everything sounds cool now.

Or it could be somebody was testing out your PS3 without your knowledge and screwed up the settings.

Do you have the O.G 60 gig? Mine does this every month or so. Im not sure what the deal is.

No, it's because you're in Canada. Your PS3 is re-setting because it's had too much Labatt's Blue.

You probably accidentally just held the power button down for too long, nothing to worry about.
