Glad to hear it.
I saw a $hitload of DUD players at Costco today. I wonder how they're going to move them all now.

What is bigger?

Castro quitting?

Or HD quitting?

Who knows. At least both reds have gone out.

Congrates. We picked the winner. It really did have the best chance of the two. Good day, our collection is safe for the next 5-10 years.

Nihon TV's news is saying "HDVD" while the screen shows "HD-DVD".

Nobody seemed to have figured out the right way to spell/pronounce the name in Japan.

enjoy

This is historical moments.

This needs to be discussed in every single section available of Blu-ray.com, and every single HDM boards/forums around the net.

LOL. Well, yeah, mods can do whatever they feel right of course.

What wonderful news.

Do you feel that? It is like a great weight is lifted.

The days of HD DVD fanboys are now relegated to the quaint past. We may now look at them as relics of a bygone age. Sure they'll still be around, but their arguments will be hollow and filled with the bitter tears of failure.

DuD fanboys are now just living fossils. Oddites out of time.

This feels wonderful.

It's over. There is nothing to discuss on HD DVD anymore. What's the point in beating a dead horse ? Let's move on and see how Blu-ray matures.

3-4 threads per category is excessive I think as we have read the same thread for the past week. Historic or not order should be maintained or it will get out of control. If you keep responding to the thread it will stay on top and wont die.

BTW, you might wanna edit some of the OP for copyright reasons

Its 2:38am here in Kansas. To celebrate, I may run over to Wal Mart and pick up Michael Clayton and In the Valley of Elah right now.
