You can kind of see his point though. As mentioned earlier, Chuck got a kick out of the jokes. His problem was someone making money off of his name. Personally I think the author is an ass for making money off of jokes he didn't write.

The book should clearly be protected under satire precident. The author may a talentless hack who cribbed from public-domain jokes, but Carlos is being an ass for thinking he can bring a lawsuit against what is obviously a joke.
