Don't forget that Twister was a flipper. The pq on the dvd sucks. Back then it was passable but nowadays its called lackluster

Wow, didn't realize Twister was the first one. It doesn't seem like it was all that long ago...sigh, guess I'm just getting old.

I avoided the original "flipper" DVD of Twister. The 2nd DVD release in 2000 was better. It was a dual-layer DVD with both DD 5.1 and "full bit rate" DTS (1509kb/s) on the same disc. Warner Bros. released a few DVDs at that time with those specs (the first three Lethal Weapon movies and Interview with the Vampire were the others in that group).
