Exclamation Twister interesting fun fact

Ok I can't take credit for this, read on another site.

But did you know that Twister was the first move on DVD(source IMDB), and will be the last HD DVD Warner release?

I thought that was pretty neat.

depending on how things go it could very well be the very last movie on hd dvd period.

that would be ironic.

I hope so too. I really hope Warner stops with the DD+ crap.

DTS-HD-MA or PCM 7.1 for this sort of flick would be awesome.

Have the specs been revealed?

Not yet. The sound is crucial for this film. Let's hope they do it up right.

I'd say you can bank on them deckin out the sound.

Lord knows something needs to compensate for the overall mediocrity of the movie..

Totally agree. If the PQ/AQ isn't first-rate, I'm not touching this one.

over at hidefdigest.com that have twister being PCM 5.1 with a VC-1 codec which is fine with me although 7.1 would be better

Always thought Jumanji was the first DVD way back in 1997.
