Default Toshiba appoints new head of Sales/Marketing...

Toshiba appointed Gil Gunderson as new the new head of Sales & Marketing for HD DVD. His main duties will include liquidating the existing stocks of HD DVD players...

"It's got your high def, your low def, your tra-la-la. Help old Gil out, will ya? Now let's talk about rust proofing, because these Toshiba's will rust up on you just like that -- (to himself "close the deal! close the deal!) -- It'll upconvert your Disney dvds -- Awww, will ya come back? Come back for 'ol Gil? Aww, I've got a million of these things to clear out otherwise they're gonna take it out from my paycheck..."

Why don't they hire Ken Graffeo, he loves duds and still believes in them. He can probably spin this whole fiasco as a Toshiba win as their stock went up after they dropped dud.

I definitely don't envy that guy... ugh, what a sad job.

I wonder what or how they are paying this guy?

HA, I love Gil. I hope the Simpsons picks up on this. Thumbs up.

"You work hard to get a lick of that brass ring. What about Gil. Doesn't Gil get a lick?"

Hey, Gil, stay away from the east side. That belongs to the Asian real estate chick!
