There was no date given before. Just speculation that it would in fact happen eventually.
I wonder if it'll be as easy to naviate or if they'll load it up with PIZAZZ...

more attractive i don't care about, easier to navigate is what it needs

not hard, no. but it needs refined. there's too much clicking to get to what you want

It's still tons better than Xbox Live Marketplace (which seems to be down every 5 minutes), but yeah, it could use an update. Easier navigation (is there a shortcut "Back" button, other than using the "Prev" button?), and better organization.

Oh... and let's not forget more content. LOADS more content, please.

They better add that when you press 'Circle', it goes to the previous page instead of exiting. So annoying. If I wanted to exit the store, I'd press 'Exit Store'. Geez. Nice that their cleaning the store up though. It doesn't look too great.

L1, same as the web browser but the pointer has to be overlapping part of the main store frame for it to work.

it is? finding and downloading things off of live is a lot less complicated. it takes like 20 clicks to download something off of psn. and i find it hard to find demo's on the psn at times.

in reality tho, they both suck and are in need of some changes

doesn't changing the marketplace require a system software upgrade for the PS3 like when they add other 'tabs' anyway have they just leaked a future system software update date???

Actually, I believe it was Spong who first reported back in December with a date of April 1st. I imagine that's one of the reasons it wasn't really taken seriously.

Can we get a search function? I'm sure you can still get to some older stuff (or can you not?) but a search box would be nice so I don't have to try to figure out where things are...

I'm glad they are doing this, and hopefully they will start adding a boatload of new trailers, as well as older PS1 and PS2 games. They need to keep adding them, and faster!
