Blu ray hdd - Blu-ray Forum

Is it possible to have a blu-ray HDD in the future? At 36/72 meg transfer rates and if ya could get four independent lasers in a 3x 5.25 cage that would be 144-288. With capacity starting at 200gigs and increasing frequently. Are there any blu-ray rw media or drive protos yet?

LG had announced a Blu-ray DVR with a small hard drive to be released last month but it never surfaced. No idea what happened.
