I currently have no music titles on Blu.

I'm waiting for:

Dream Theater - Score
Dream Theater - Live at Budakon

And most of my Rush collection.

I've got these so far:

Celine Dion
Dave Matthews
Destiny's Child
NIN
Shakira

I also would have gotten Beyonce if they hadn't delayed it. I'd say Shakira is my favorite one so far but in general, they all look great and sound great.

There are several I'd like on blu-ray. I don't know...Metallica, Mariah Carey, The Eagles, Thalia, Jewel, Heart, and maybe Garth Brooks to name a few.

Too bad you didn't get it for $15.95 when Amazon had it on sale.

I got "Tony Bennette" as a blind buy. (I didn't know his music well before) It's so awesome and entertaining with the amazing production and the 1st class dancers. If you like swing/romantic music, this is a must. The show was too short though.

I buy almost all concert Blu-ray's. I love uncompressed PCM audio for concerts. The Destiny's Child concert in Atlanta sounds amazing. So does the AC/DC concert. Timberlake's wasn't very good but acceptable. Elton 60 sounds great!

I'd be waiting for those also. As I've mentioned before with my username:
dtrush = Dream Theater, Rush

I think we'll see stuff on Blu-ray from Dream Theater because of Portnoy being such an avid movie buff. No doubt he's invested in a BD player

I got an e-mail a while back from Rush.com and they filmed a show from the Snakes and Arrows tour in Europe(I think it was Germany), for a release on DVD. I hope it gets a BD release as well.

I've got the following titles on Blu-ray

Queen Rock Montreal and Live Aid
David Gilmour: Remember the Night
Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same
Robbie Williams: Live at the Albert
Elton 60: Live at Madison Square Garden
The Last Waltz

I am hoping that the excellent high def titles "Heart: Alive In Seattle" and "The Eagles: Farewell I" quikly make their way to Blu-ray now that HD DVD is dead. Hopefully Warner Bros. will quickly release "Fleetwood Mac: The Dance," "REM: Tourfilm," "Concert for George" and "Concert for Bangladesh."

Wanna sell them?

Default Concerts on BLU

I am a metalhead and sick and tired of metal always being the last genre to jump on new formats. when i first got my dvd player (back in 97 i think) the only kinda metal release for the longest time was black sab the last supper. i still have no SACD or DVD audio Disc . now how long will i have to wait for a blu SLAYER concert. i found myself almost buying a destinys child blu just to see how good a show is on blu. but i just couldnt do it , sorry for *****n im just sick of always waiting for my music to come out.

You as a Slayer fan would not have been able to live down or stomach a Destiny's Child concert. LOL!!!!!!

But you're right, I being a fan of most music genres would love to see more metal concerts on Blu-ray. Other than AC/DC Live at Donington I don't think there any other Metal releases. (someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

Welcome to the Forums BTW!!!

Deep Purple has one that came out recently and even though they aren't truely metal Nine Inch Nails has one as well, which kicks serious ass by the way. Rob Halford has a Fight Blu Ray music disc coming out soon, check the news area for that one. I would love to see Slayer, also Iron Maiden's Maiden England. I have many more, but it would take me time to think about them and post them here.
