Default Which Spielberg Film is your Favorite?

Spielberg is by far my favorite director and I was wondering which film of his our members feel is the best or their favorite. Ive only included films that he directed and omitted some of the very early ones which I havnt seen and doubt many members have. I cant wait for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Jurassic Park IV, Im not sure if he's directing but I know he's involved. So vote away

That's a tough choice to make, but Saving Private Ryan would be my favorite. The Last Crusade is a very close second though.

I love so many of his films, but I think I'd give the edge to Minority Report as far as personal enjoyment goes. The Indiana Jones series would be right up there though...and Schindler's List is just...wow.

I have most of his movies on DVD but if I had to pick one it is Saving Private Ryan.

usually questions like this come with some serious thinking as when moods change you feelings towards something also changes... with a list like that you would think it would be difficult to rank but for me the 1st on the list is the easiest part...which is Sav. Private Ryan.. then gets more difficult on the way down.. now if it would just get a Blu release date

raiders as well, because I think it's the best of the three by far. last crusade comes close but it's a very different approach.

raiders is slightly better imo.

Jaws...... ET was a close 2nd, and I actually don't own Saving Private Ryan on DVD (not one of the illustrious 1,100) I don't know why I never bought it, because it was a pretty good flick.... I guess I don't have to double dip at least, and I can pick it up on Blu.

Wasn't ET his highest grossing film? That film was precious when it came out.

It was this or Raiders, I had to go with this. i just love Ford and Connery's chemistry. It's brilliant! One of my favorite films of all time. Definitely my favorite Speilberg film. Followed closely by Raiders and Jurassic Park. Grrrrr. Arrggh.

I almost wanted to say Jaws because of all the problems that they had to overcome to make it. Talk about frustration. I voted Saving Private Ryan because it was the one that really hit my emotions, for pure popcorn entertainment though it should of been Raiders and If I was voting as his most important contribution to film it had to be Schindler's List. Does anybody know off hand what his next project is? Is he directing Indiana 4?

I had to go with Schindler's List. I know it's slow, but I thought it was done so well, on so many levels...

Wow I'm shocked to see Saving Private Ryan at the front, thats what I voted for but thought that one of the Indy films would have been in the lead.
