Default G.I. Jane & King Arthur: Extended Cut

Does anyone know if these titles have been pushed back? I had them in my Netflix Queue but when I came in this afternoon Netflix had put them in Unknown Status with no release date.

They originally were scheduled for 4/3.

It may be because they do not release until tomorrow. Try checking back tomorrow to see if they appear on your list. If they don't then they might be pushed back by netflix. If so, then just buy them, they're pretty good.

The others that are being released tomorrow, Identity & Volver have already shipped to me today. Earlier in the day it was in queue showing 4/3 & later this afternoon it moved to unknown release date so I thought they might have bumped it.

Cool. Maybe Netflix didn't get them on time & will get them in for this week. They usually have all the releases on time. I was really wanting to see both of these.

Default Amazon confirms shipment

Amazon notified me today that G.I. JANE (the only title I pre-ordered) was shipped today and should arrive in the next 2 days.

Disney always get their BD review copies out last minute. Whatever the reason, it might be affecting shipment to stores too.

I got G.I. Jane and King Arthur at Wal-Mart today (I am glad they lowered the SRP of them). Is it just me, or does the director's cut of King Arthur have like the worst editing job known to man? Plus the sound effects are horribly weak and the score seems to good for the movie...

G.I. JANE was one of my most favorite films than needed re-mastering since it was an early DVD without even enhancement for 16x9.

Now having seen the Blu-ray version, it is definitely an improvement over the DVD, but that's just not saying much. The soft look of the film was certainly disappointing after waiting so long for a pristine transfer.

If you're looking for a demo disc of this title, G.I. Jane is definitely not it!

Can you imagine though if after Chris Rock made that joke that Jada got up and told him to "Suck my dick"... now that would have been the greatest moment in the history of television.

I'm disappointed and kind of shocked that the Blu-ray of G.I. Jane is still available. It has been $9.99 this entire time, so you think scalpers would have run through the remaining stock by Monday morning. Surely there can't be that many copies still to be sold.

Anyway, I bought a copy. I've never seen it and I honestly feel like I'm going to get blue balls from watching all the tight top footage, but I guess that's what Striptease is for.

And now I'm discovering that I don't own Striptease, either. Something's not right in my life.

Maybe there were just that many copies in stock? I doubt this is one of Disney’s biggest sellers. But on the bright side, if it does sell out, it will prompt Disney to reprint the Blu-ray with an updated cover. The current cover is outdated beyond belief.

It would.

And can you imagine if someone actually decides to make a G.I. Jane 2 and then puts her in it? I'm guessing there would be quite the natural hype
