![]() I'm all for it. ( Dawn 3D ) It won't change my thoughts on the original film, and if it paid off, it would just be another version to love! I think we spoke about that in the Dracula 3D thread a while back. |

Well damn, that review just confirmed my worst fears. US fans are getting totally shafted. Missing the commentary, the deleted scenes, and instead of the hour-long making-of on the French version it's three measly minutes. Pathetic.
Let's just hope the French release isn't ACTUALLY locked to Region B so we can import... I need to see those deleted scenes, damnit! |

Indeed, that's exactly what's got me worried. The original film's awesome French release was from the same company and that one wasn't locked, but there's no telling if they've changed policy since.

This is available this Tuesday at Best Buy exclusively as reported above, so this is an unexpected early bonus. But it does stink we didn't get the deleted shots and other extras in other versions.
Is there commentary on this one? I hope so. The 3D, again, in Silent Hill 2 had some of the best I've seen in all of 2012 in theaters. |

Sean Bean plays a small part, but adds a lot to most films he's in. The main actress, also did a respectable job with the role she was scripted to play.
The creatures definitely caught the look of the Silent Hill games. I think the fact that you're playing the Silent Hill games gives them a little more horror edge. Like in Silent Hill Downpour 3D (PS3): Exiting the fog filled town plagued with wandering demons, I approached a rusted building and crawled into the basement. Inside, it was mostly dark but for a few light bulbs, with tools spread about, wires and household objects lining the brick walls. Up ahead and down the hall, there was complete darkness in the farthest room. As I approach it, there are signs that someone was here, with scribbled paper on the table, litter scattering the floor. The growing sounds around me indicate something sinister may be nearby. Reaching the dark room, suddenly a shriek from behind startles, and an evil, dark entity suddenly attacks. The sense of dread takes over as I try to fight it off. Pretty neat game, but I have yet to finish it. I think movies like the Shining, Pet Sematary, The Exorcist, and a few others capture that rare trait of dread better than most other movies. I'd love to see them in strong 3D one day. |
