Cool What is the best method for cleaning an LCD screen?

I have a 37" LG LCD I use for games, but its in the living room where my wife runs her daycare. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on cleaning tips for finger smudges and streaks. Every time I wipe the screen, it never really seems to come clean. Some of the streaks are still visible when light hits the screen and its driving me crazy. Any help? Tips?

Thanks

i use a lcd spray cleaning kit that i picked up at target for $6.99. it comes with a extra soft duster so that you can get all the dust off of the screen. It also comes with a microfiber cloth that is super soft and the spray cleaner.

Never spray anything directly onto the screen as the screens are not sealed and the liquid could get between the panel and the casing. Always spray the liquid onto the cloth then apply to the screen. you could just use a soft cloth and water but i would opt for the cleaning kit.

One thing to look out for is this. Never use a cleaning solution that has alcohol in it. The alcohol overtime will destroy the panel. All LCD kits are designed specificaly for use on lcd and will not have any abbrasive substances in them. The one i picked up works great and removes my kids finger prints from the screen with no problems. It is branded by GE and is in a red and white bottle with a blue cap! Awesome stuff! I highly recommend it! Good luck!

Good old microfiber cloth damp with water and a soft terry cloth towel for drying. You don't need anything else to clean a screen as long as you wipe it down regularly, like once every couple of weeks.

No I didn't mean the sandpaper remark you made, I meant the papertowl that the OP mentioned. I assume your post was sarcasm based on his papertowel option.

Drink lots of lemonade and then urinate on the screen.
The cleaning power of urea and lemons is unbeatable.
