Great, yet another format, just what we need!!!

(The title should be HD VMD, I created it as that but the forum software has changed it to Hd Vmd)

Isn't the Inquirer this bogus magazine with alien abduction stories comitted by the Yeti and things alike?

If it is, it's a different Inquirer, the one I gave a link to is a UK based IT news site run by Mike Magee, formerly of The Register.

Have seen this on tweakers.net too. It's a french format with 2 publishers that have already signed up. But as with many french standards it will probably not leave France.

I have seen it discussed at other sites and it is DOA in the US and most anywhere else. Unfortunately we have two formats for the same thing here in the US and those two won't likely have much of a market unless one goes bye bye quickly.
