can decode Multichannel PCM?

I use a PS3 for my games/blues and have it set to LPCM.

The reason I need this amp is I ordered a pair of Martin Logan Vistas and wont have money for a better set up for some time so I needed something as cheap as possible that would still sound good and be able to drive the Logans.

The same guy selling me the Logans offered this receiver to me for $1100 CAD <taxes included>

This is a fine sounding receiver, better than your typical mass market fare, but it does not do HDMI audio at all. After much testing Arcam has decided that HDMI will degrade the sound.

Thanks for the reply. Even though it doesn't handle HDMI I think I'm still going to grab it.

I just love the way that it sounds.
