Default Favorite Studio Intro/Logo

By that I mean your favorite studio graphic that appears before the movie or music Like how 20th Century Fox has the fanfare music before all their movies.

Mine would be

20th Century Fox. I don't know just something about hearing that fanfare. It gives me chills honestly.

Others I liked growing up. All of these now are different from 20-25 years ago.

Universal Pictures

Warner Bros.

Paramount Pictures

Screen Gems/Columbia-Tristar/Sony Pictures

Disney's The Classic Castle Logo

Dimension Films (Simple but Effective)

New Line Cinema

I know this might seem like a stupid thread. But I've grew up with these watching some of my fave movies. And alot like when you go to the movies to see trailers. Seeing these opening intro's/logo's bring back so many happy memories for me. Whether I saw them at the theaters or at home. if i forgot any of your faves. Just feel free to post them.

Not a stupid thread at all.

I've ways been partial to the New Line intro myself for some reason. Recently, I have loved what Warner Bros. have been doing to try and blend the logo into the theme and start of their films. To an extent, Paramount has sort of done the same with their stars and/or mountain when applicable.

I can't watch them without thinking of the Family Guy parody.

I alway liked the New Line Cinema.

And I know this probably doesn't count, but the Intro to the IMAX film is impressive, especially in 3D.

That's one of the only times I've actually been impressed with 3D.

I just associate certain movies with those logo's intro's.

Like with New Line I'll always think of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy, along with all the A Nightmare On Elm Street Films.

Warner Bros with Gremlins and Goonies.

FOX with Star Wars, even though I was never the biggest fan. So I'm sure that will seem weird to those that see it next year and no Fanfare playing.

Not really a studio intro. But I liked seeing the Amblin logo.

I was extremely disappointed not to see the Toho logo in front of the new Godzilla:

The silence really gives it a sense of regalness, in my opinion.

Edit: Bonus "Tohoscope" screen with fanfare from The Mysterians:

Not sure if they even use it anymore but I always liked the Dreamworks logo, probably because it meant a new Spielberg movie.

Great thread MBF!! The 20th Century Fox fanfare has always been my favorite too. Even if you going to see a romantic comedy, it always quickens the pulse. I always hate when they chop off the original logo that was used and use a brand spanking new studio logo. As far as I'm concerned, the logo is part of any particular films history. Here's a bit of a neat spin on the 20th Century Fox logo used in Alien 3.

Even though they were slightly tweaked, I liked the Warner Bros. and Paramount logos at the beginning of the movie 'Zodiac'.

I love the custom WB ones, especially for the Harry Potter films, The LEGO Movie and Watchmen. I also love the Transformers Paramount one. I also dig the Bad Robot and Bad Hat Harry ones.

Thanks, I feel it's just one of those things you can put infront of any movie.

I thought this was cool. Even if you didn't like the film gotta admit this was nice.
