Anyone here into PC Gaming? If so, what kind of games are you into and what are your favorite games?

I'm into mostly MMORPGs or any sort of action RPGs. I'm a big fan of Blizzard games and I don't think I've played a Blizzard game I haven't liked. I guess my favorite has to be Starcraft (I know I'm OG... my friends and myself consider this our modern version of chess) and World of Warcraft.

I haven't played any new decent RPGs except for Oblivion but even thats old. I've been hearing a lot about Legend: Hand of God coming out and from the videos and screens I've seen of this game it impresses me and I'm gonna get my hands on it as soon as I can. http://youtube.com/watch?v=L9iHf9RGWy0

LEGO Rally...nuff said.

Just kidding. I have played an old demo of Myth: The Fallen Lords many years ago. I can get past the first level no problem, but in the 2nd level, I just can't get past the trows (the giant blue guys). I would've bought the game if it wasn't for those trows.

I am a huge Blizzard fan as well, having played everything from the original Warcraft up. Warcraft II I played way too much but that pales in comparison to the time I spent on World of Warcraft. I had to quit last June because my fiancee was ready to split and I was dangerously close to being fired.

I'd still go back

Starcraft was great as well.

I also highly enjoy the Command & Conquer series, as I have followed them since the first. I played a lot of FPS's as well way back in the day. I still play them but I have found my skills rusty so I dare not tread online to get owned by a 10 year old playing with one hand because he's texting someone at 50 words per minute with the other.

I have not found one I like, since Baldur's Gate II and the Icewind Dale games. BGII was the best though. I almost wish I still had it, now.

Right now I've got to finish the last race of Supreme Commander before the expansion hits, I tested World in Conflict from the Alpha build on the multiplayer mode, though all the marching bands have pretty much killed the online for that for me. I'm finishing C&C 3 Kane expansion right now

I play BF2142 reguarly. 3000 points to go before I get the highest rank

I enjoy games on the PC. The larger variety of games and abundance of mods make it a nice choice. I enjoy strategy games for the PC, some RPG's, and for the most part still prefer a mouse and keyboard to gamepad for FPS's. If any of you want to check out an awesome online shooter, check out Red Orchestra It's an online only game set on the Eastern Front WWII (although recent mods have expanded it to other theaters of the war). It's onsale this weekend for $4.99! This isn't a run-and-gun game, and there is a learning curve, but it is great fun.

The only PC game that I really do play is Starcraft.

Thats it

I was playing SC competitively actually, for local 1v1/2v2 tournaments or on BNET Clan Wars. Before WCG, there were annual BNET clan tournaments.

I miss the old days and I remember I was so happy to win my first prize (Logitech Wireless Keyboard/mouse combo!!! ) <--- was a big deal back then.

hah

I still have an active WoW account and play every now again. My genre of choice is the FPS (particularly WWII themed ones) - my wife, son and myself often play on the LAN, which is a great laugh.

I've been pouring a lot of hours into Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 recently, it's a nice sedate time-burner

I dug out my original civilization game, and am attempting to get it to work on my computer as it is. The new civilization revolution game made me do it! I just want to rule the world with an iron fist, is that too much to ask?

Usually racing games - not Sims though.
Colin McRae series(2.0-2005)
NFS
Flatout and Flatout 2(plus the FOJ Mod)

Played LFS for a while... wasn't "fun", more of a Sim.

Played Madden football a few times...

Halo was ok.
Doom was kinda fun.

LOTS of arcade type games.

Thats one crazy ass addiction. I know a couple people who play 2 accounts of WoW at the same on the dual screen. Thats way too much...

I play PC titles. Not alot. I play LOTRO pretty often (its my anti WoW game) But mostly since I own a PS3 I Purchased a Dell XPS 420 Desktop so I could buy those Xbox games on Games for Windows that are must haves such as Gears of War and the sequel do out in 2009.

Thats weird you mentioned that about Gears of War, I just read that the same writer for Gears of War wrote the storyline for Legend: Hand of God, so it should be good. I'm not sure if the writer wrote the storyline to the sequel but I hope she did, it had a really good story to it.

I use to be a big time PC gamer years ago. I wasted many hours on the Delta Force series, mainly Land Warrior. I use to be pretty good on my dail up so much as I was on one of the best teams world wide FF - Firefighters.

It all depends on the type of game for me. I can tell you that you you can never replace the PC for first person shooters or real time strategy because of the control they offer. On the contrary, I prefer consoles for fighting, platformers, and racing games.

I prefer PC gaming compared to PS3/Xbox.

I currently am playing League of Legends, Battlefield BC2, AvP3, MW2 and a few others.

My favourite all time was also counterstrike 1.6.
