Yes, very nice NEW take on Supes, It looks similar to Justice League, but different voice casting and a couple things u wouldnt expect from a Superman movie. Lois is voiced by Anne Heche which is the only bad part of the movie, I rate it an A+

He is in there, its loosely based on The Death of Superman comic book, but they left a lot out, but its still great

Well then, I will be picking this up tomorrow. I'd just wish they put dooms in a live action movie that would be off the hook!

Agreed, they certainly left a LOT out and changed a bit, but honestly it was a pretty decent adaptation of the story. Cool fight scenes as well. I might have to pick it up if it ever makes it to Blu!

Well DC is watching how well Hulk does and then if it does well (which it is), It will help them decide whether to do a sequel to Superman or a reboot. Im rooting for the reboot. A better take on Superman, that sticks close to the comics. Im not liking Bryan Singer anymore

I thought it was already confirmed that Singer IS doing the sequel (after all that talk of the reboot came to be)??

i just didnt like that he had a child, I understand where Bryan was coming from, he wanted to modernize Superman in an age where people want a hero they can relate to with life's issues (ie: Tony Starkrinking, Hulk: Anger and Loneliness, Batman: Vengeful and Depressed), but its kinda like a slap in the face when you want people to relate to a Superhero by giving him a bastard child lol.

Future Directors know that Supes has to have a lot of action with intense Super-villains like Doomsday, Solomon Grundy, Bizarro etc...

Bryan Singer is just a little kid clinging to the original Superman with Chris Reeve, if he was on board for Batman Begins, he would have made it a sequel to Batman Returns.

The reboot idea just came up due to Hulk buzz being positive. DC/Warner know they have to get on the ball with their movies and stuff, so they say they want a Superman Returns sequel, but at the same time, people are hoping for a fresh take on Supes and not just another crappy sequel by Singer.

If they are smart they will do a reboot and then soon finally intertwine Batman and Superman once and for all

I mean, they gotta be feeling the pressure to do Bats & Supes and JLA well and correctly since Marvel is pumping out Iron Man, Hulk, Cap, Thor before they get Avengers in 2011. Marvel is going to make a ton of money AND make a higher quality of movie than previous attempts, so maybe WB follows their lead.

That is what their plan is, They are writing a Green Lantern Script as well as Wonder Woman.

Warner is also doing a movie called SuperMan: Green Arrow, its about Green Arrow being falsely accused of a crime and being sent to Super Max, which is a LARGE prison (similar to Arkham) that has ruthless villains that Arrow and other Superheroes have put in there such as Joker, Riddler, and Luthor. Its a Brand New take on the Superhero Genre and sounds really good.

BUT Matt Damon is rumored to doing it

Too bad Whedon left the wonder woman project, and I'm pretty sure Common is going to be Green Lantern, but not 100% sure. When I first heard about supermax I got pretty excited, it sounds like a good concept
