I was really REALLY we would hear an announcement on this one, but I havent seen anything yet.

I was hoping WB would phone Lionsgate and say "Hey, how did your animated movies sell", and it would have been enough for WB to consider a release.

Warner Home Video has revealed a new release of the top-selling direct-to-video Superman Doomsday animated feature is on the way.

A new two-disc DVD and Blu-Ray release of Superman Doomsday is slated for a November 25th, 2008 release. The new release will include additional bonus features, including four episodes of Superman: The Animated Series handpicked by Bruce Timm and over two hours of extra content. A trailer for the upcoming Wonder Woman direct-to-video animated feature is expected to be included on the new Superman Doomsday release.

Cover art and specific details on the new Superman Doomsday: Special Edition release are expected in the coming weeks.

This movie was OKAY. I think it should have been longer to flesh out the story more and I just hated the look of Superman.

yeah i agree with u and the other guy, Supes looked retarded but it was a great movie. Too short and NOW they know to NEVER NEVER cast Anne Heche in animated films again (Lois Lane).

I am very happy this is coming to Blu-ray. This had originally been planned to come out on BD when the dvd was first rumored but I think Warner didn't know how well it would sell at the time. I actually held out for a little while hoping for a Blu-ray announcement but caved and got the dvd.

In general I thought this was a well done animated movie. As someone else said the only major failing is the poor choice in how they animated Superman, specifically his face. He looks 40 in this movie!! If anyone hasn't seen this imagine the Superman from Superman:The Animated Series aged 12 years with lines in his face. It looks ridiculous at times because Lois is drawn to look around 25 or even younger. Other than that I thought it was as good as it could be condensing the Doomsday storyline to one movie.

Let us hope WB gives us lossless audio on this BD.

Same here, I saw this the other day and didn't really care for it. The story seemed a bit choppy and the design of Superman was horrible. He looked like an old man or something, very odd.

This has been the prevailing problem with all three of the Direct to Video WB DC Animated films, they just don't give them length enough for them to feel completely realized and satifying.
