Hey, i have a few questions about the trophie system.

1. What games that are out currently will support trophies?
2. Will other people be able to look at them?
3. What form are they in? eg a little picture with the details next to them?
4. where will the trophies section be?

please add to this with any other questions and answers please!

1. Unknown. Warhawk, Resistance. Uncharted, R+C, Dark Sector(any game with achievements built into the game) More than likely, many 1st and 2nd party games are already working on something for it.

There is a seperate trophies system coming in the next firmware update, since home got delayed. I believe he is inquiring about those trophies.

Battlefield: Bad Company, basically.

2. Will other people be able to look at them?

No information about that.

A picture of a trophy with text next to it.

In the in-game XMB when you pause a game judging from the Bioshock video.

I know Pixel Junk Eden Supports the trophy system. Not sure what other games do, I believe I read that Sid Meyer Civilization Revolution supports trophies, but not sure if that was 360 only or PS3 and 360.

Here is an image of a trophy in game.. from upcoming BioShock looks like there may be "levels" like platinum, gold, silver, bronze.

Anyone know if they'll be applied ex post facto? i.e., for accomplishments already made in games, vs. only after the firmware upgrade?

nobody knows this for sure, but there are several mentions of adding this feature to existing games.

If they do add them to already completed achievements, it kinda weakens the trophy as anyone and everyone can share save game files...making those trophies based on a save game file, as hard to get as downloading the image.

I hope they keep all new games achievements only available at the time of achievement to avoid this.

The only downside to only being for new game achievements is a lot of people will be aggravated to have to play a game over from the very beginning that they already beat. I don't relish the idea of going back through Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank to get all the stuff done again.

I would totally play through Guitar Hero 3 again for the trophies though. I hope they add them posthumously.

Confirmed: Super Stardust HD. Highly likely based on Dylan Jobe's comments: Warhawk.

Confirmed future release: PixelJunk eden.

XMB - don't know yet but probably. home - yes.

In the 'Game' section of the XMB and 'Hall of Fame' in home.

I hope the add trophies like someone said to the past accomplishments. I would be pissed if I had to go back through R&C, Resistance, or Drake's. I don't have time for that!

I don't really mind if they retroactively apply, because I just recently got a PS3 for MGS4. About halfway through that game, but I wouldn't mind replaying it. Any future games I pick up that have the trophy feature, I'll be playing for the first time anyways.

I'd like it to be retro, but I'm guessing they can only do it for game point trophies. For instance, your game save probably doesn't say that you killed X opponents in X minutes or stuff like that.

Guess who's going to be a trophy *****.

judging from that in screen shot from the t.v it looks poor, they need a catogry for each game. i hope when you click on other peoples avatar that you can open up there achievments!
