This is very true! I remembered when they released each individual film in the Friday the 13th series. Despite the enormous amount of available bonus materials at the time, they released each film as a complete bare bones version, with only the trailer for an extra. The same for the original Titanic dvd release. To be fair, they eventually re-released the titles--F13 in a collector's set (I didn't enjoy the movies enough to double dip, despite the extras), and Titanic received a 3-disc version a few years ago. But still, as a whole, Paramount is not the leader of the pack when I think of studios that release stellar DVDs. I think New Line is probably one of the best.
