I mean, I'm a HUGE Pearl Jam fan (tied with Zeppelin for my all-time favorite band), and I enjoy all their albums, but if they started putting out music I didn't like, I wouldn't keep buying their music. Simple as that...

Good question. Why do I keep hoping that they will produce something good, like they used to 25 years ago? Probably in the hopes that they will again. But so far, I've been let down every time.
