120hz is the refresh rate of the set. Just like that most sets refresh at 60x, 120hz LCD's refresh at 120x. 120 being a multiple of both 30 and 24, makes it good to resolve judder. Motionflow, that you can turn on and off, creates that "smoothing" or "unreal" effect. They're not the same thing.[/rant]
