Apart from their deal with Criterion, WB's policy is they do not license to third parties. May change in the future, but right now it is what it is.

Yeah I think Arrow mentioned the UK set would play on Region A players!
Also one of the reasons I plan to get the UK set

Yeah it sucks given that niche companies like Arrow for example could do something with titles we already know WB will never touch again but them licensing stuff out will likely never happen 9with VERY FEW exceptions)

Yeah even on the cases it says that HOUSE 3 & 4 are only Region B & 2 compatible.

Arrow's release of Willie Dynamite also says it's Region B, but it plays in my US PS3 just fine. Not to mention the LE of Deep Red was "mistakenly" region free (which they fixed on the normal release), and the repress of Shivers that took care of the missing footage was also region free.

I'm region free, so I had the UK set pre-ordered anyway, but I always like having freedom with what players I can play my movies on (since I do bring movies over when hanging out with friends), so them not locking 3 and 4 is great news!

Arrow has more "oops we forgot to region lock it" releases than any other boutique label I've seen. It's not an accident.

I think 88 might have more now considering every Italian collection title from the last 6 months has been region free.
