The opening DC logo was totally bad-ass. I am so ready for Justice League.

This book.

I have the art books for Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad to go with this. I'm eagerly awaiting the Justice League book preorder.

The only thing they "underperformed" on is the critical front and 'potential box office gains' if they had debatably gotten better critical reviews.

I still enjoy the DCEU movies far more than the start of the MCU if we're comparing the beginning movies.

Studios will always be concerned with Box Office results, but for me, as a fan, it's story, characters (dialog content), music & sound, and finally action (if necessary), which equates to = Re-watch-ability.

I've noticed that the Domestic Box Office is taking a bigger hit than the International Box Office (but of course the International market is bigger) examples...

-The Fate of the Furious - (Domestic) $220m (International) $1b

-Beauty and the Beast - (Domestic) $500m (International) $730m
-Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - (Domestic) $350m (International) $460m
-Logan - (Domestic) $220m (International) $380m
-Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - (Domestic) $120m (International) $380
-Wonder Woman - (Domestic) $120m (International) $120m So far, it's still too early to tell.
-Split - (Domestic) $130m (International) $130m
-John Wick: Chapter Two - (Domestic) $90m (International) $70m

When I see the Domestic and International Box Office numbers relatively close, for me, that's a good sign of a decent/good balanced film.

If your going to compare MCU to DCU, YEAR ONE...

Iron Man (2008)
Incredible Hulk (2008)
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Thor (2011)
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Avengers (2012)
vs
Man of Steel (2013)
Batman v Superman (2016)
Suicide Squad (2016)
Wonder Woman (2017)
Justice League (2017) Not Released

To be fair, I would eliminate Thor, just because Captain America: The First Avenger seems more similar to WW than Thor does; Although, WW seems like a mash-up of Captain American and Thor, due to Origin and Story

After all, it looks pretty close if you ask me.

#1
Iron Man
Man of Steel
Avengers.

#2...
Justice League (big maybe)
Captain America
Batman v Superman

#3...
Incredible Hulk
Wonder Woman
Iron Man 2

#4...
Suicide Squad

I have my roomie to thank for that. He bought a few for other movies, and he told me about the BvS one. Amazon kept sending me damaged BvS books, so I went with Barnes and Noble for all three films' books back in March. Then I preordered Wonder Woman last month, and it arrived on the film's release day.

I hope plenty of people who may not have read them before are encouraged to pick up some Wonder Woman comics. It's been brilliant recently.

Is it just me or does anyone else want to see behind the scenes of Gal Gadot doing scenes while five months pregnant?

I do, especially after she said in an interview that they had the stomach of her costume cut out and her belly was green screen. lol

Can't say I am desperate to see the footage but it will be an interesting curiosity. They may include it in the making of when the movie reaches Blu.

Jenkins said they redid some of the No Man's Land sequence, so I suspect her walk during that part is one area where they needed to CG remove her baby bump.

I thought it was rather good.

It went in a direction at the end that I wasnt expecting and to be honest didnt really care for all that much. However I thought the film was really great up until the finale.

Some really quite fakey-fake CGI / green screen at certain points too took me out of the film, particuarly at the start with some of the training stuff.

My original post was a response to one of your fellow bullies who compared WW to the Disney fun films. You were on this thread earlier with your ridiculous WW "Saved DCEU" nonsense. Do your "looking like a fool but you keep watching"logic apply to you and your fellow Disney "fun"boys who trash DC but still watch the films? Now stop derailing the thread and allow the forum members to discuss WW.

I was skeptical going into this film because of DC's track record but I am glad to say that this is the first good film in the DCEU.

Regarding Trevor.
[Show spoiler]While part of me would like to see him return as Gadot and Pine had good chemistry, the other part of me thinks that if they bring him back it will take away from the impact the last scenes in this movie had. Also before going into the movie, I was kind of tipped off on what was going to happen to Trevor, so the scenes with Trevor and WW throughout the movie had a greater impact for me (knowing that she will lose him).

And the obligatory ratings:
Wonder Woman - 4/5
Man of Steel - 3/5
Suicide Squad - 2.5/5
BvS - 0.5/5
