Doesn't matter if their all artistic and stuff. At the end of the day. That don't pay the bills. It's something we all need.

Yes, I would like to know what attracts a director who makes high class fantastic films to make a sequel to a dumpster fire Hollywood blockbuster. It makes me interested in something I otherwise had no interest in. Fincher has clearly made more than enough not churning out generic blockbusters, so him doing this is clearly not just about the money. If he wanted to do stuff just for the money he's had twenty plus years to do it.
