Hey Everyone,
I currently have the Onkyo tx-sr605 and it's pretty good(Energy C-Series Speakers for 5.1 with S10.3 Sub) but I'm not 100% happy with it for music, mainly because the Equalizer settings are way too hard to use and I don't like the presets that are there(all speakers, unplugged...etc). Basically what I would is a receiver with better equalizer use and better presets for music... like rock, dance, pop and where they are adjustable. I feel with the 605, I have no control over the sound. I hate Audessy's settings as well. It does a good job at leveling and distances, but not with equalizers. If anyone knows a good receiver for TrueHd, DTS HD and great with music for anywhere betwen 500 to 1200 dollars please let me know. Thanks!!! |
