Default Sad day for Patriots fans

Despite going 11-5 the Patriots will miss the playoffs. The only other team to miss the playoffs with this record was the 1985 Denver Broncos.
The Patriots lost to the Jets, Dolphins, Colts, Chargers and Steelers. All of these teams came into the final day of the season with a chance to make the playoffs.
After beating the Bills in the early game they needed the Jets to beat the Dolphins at home to win the division. Brett Favre had a typical Brett Favre game, throwing 3 interceptions, including a virtual game clincher when he threw a pass high trying to catch the defense off guard. I never liked Favre, and I hope his legacy is tarnished by his stupid and selfish decision that he wanted to come back right before training camp. I actually hope he doesn't retire, because I'll enjoy the day when the Jets release him. This is actually the 2nd time a Favre led team has tanked and kept the Pats out of the playoffs, as his Pack in 2002 lost to the Jets to give the Jets the division.
The GM of the Jets should be fired for trading for Favre. He had a good quarterback in Chad Pennington and released him for a over the hill Favre,. Pennington and the Dolphins are going to the playoffs, and Pennington is a legit MVP candidate.
I apologize for this rambling and for offending you Favre fans. I'm just saddened by an 11 win Pats team not making the playoffs, yet a 9 win Cardinals team (whom the Patriots blasted 47-7) and either a 9 win Broncos team (whom the Patriots blasted 41-7) or an 8 win Chargers team (who I admit, blasted the Patriots) making the playoffs. Thank you for your time.
