I've been wanting to import this as well but have been holding off since I didn't want to receive the bad disc's. Will ordering from Wowhddvd.com be OK? Also will this come with the slipcover or where they only for pre-orders?

Do you think Moontrap will ever get a new transfer and release? I avoided the Olive version after being disappointed by the smeariness of the German release. I believe it has been posted on here that the negative still exists.

MVD Rewind Guy,

ok so grown-up stuff in the back room, I have a couple of questions about a Damino film that is being release in November.

so here goes, i know that this title was release overseas, in the correct aspect ratio, but every review, is questioning the picture, as being an up-converted 720 to 1080p presentation.

Damino's Family is preserving his legacy by having his films restored, so the question is,... is this a properly restored version, correct aspect ratio, correct running time, ahem no edits, and are there going to be any special features. The Family has been working on.

Not that this is a great film, but it is a novelty of it's time that started the Porno Chic era.

AKNewbie, is your DeepDiscount order from 6/12 still active? I ordered on 6/29 and it was cancelled a few weeks later. I'm thinking about reordering but the price has gone up. MVD Rewind Guy, if I were to order Lionheart now, what would be the odds it would still have the slipcover? Or are all copies currently being sold still coming with the slipcover?

Also, do you know who has the rights to Still Crazy (1998) starring Bill Nighy or Ski Patrol (1990)? I think these would be fun movies for your line.

"Blast" isn't a Rewind Collection title but since it has no thread of its own I thought I'd quickly post in here that while the transfer looks great the movie is truly terrible and should be avoided by all but the most dedicated Die Hard rip-off fans. It's literally 15 people in a public pool basement wandering around for 90 minutes. The ending is so bad and cheesy it's hilarious in a Best of the Worst way, but it's like 2 minutes of a 100 minute movie.

All of Albert Pyun's movies post 1995 are pretty unwatchable (except for MEAN GUNS).
