I had and still do have a large collection, but alot of them suck. I would blind buy alot of them, and if I didnt like them, oh well, it would still increase my collection.

I treat blu-rays differently. I would like my library to all be titles that I really enjoy and am proud to have. And before I buy one, I will read it's review on here because I double-dipped enough in my dvd days. I recently went through the blu rays that have been released already and added the ones I want to my wishlist. So far, I only have 19 blu's but love them all.

Does anyone else feel the same way? Have you grown out of your "Look how many blu's I have" stage and converted to "Check out how many awesome movies I have on blu!" stage?
My wife and I just had that same talk were not going to do that this way around. No blind buys unless we know its gona be good, we bought so many horrable movies on dvd and no upgrading to blu ray unless there good ones like

Swordfish
The Rock
The Incredibles (one day on blu if theres a god)

the texas chainsaw massacre
rush hour

face off
