I picked it up at ABC Warehouse a little over a year ago for like $40 and it was worth every penny. While I haven't bought many of the films I intend to get Region B versions of yet, the feature is fantastic. (And it works great on the Region B titles I own) Mainly I bought it so I could get titles from Eureka, Arrow, Anime Limited, Second Sight, BFI and some other labels. That way I can have a more diverse library. (Right now it's mostly anime, but with how cheap quite a lot of the Region B titles I'm after are, that'll change once I have more money to splurge.)
