I've had some issues with Deep Discount like this before. Call their customer service. State how it came damaged and you want a new one sent out. They will send one out and then make you send the damaged one back. They will also give you a return label.
You just have to call and ask for this, otherwise yes its typically a refund.
I've also made them give me the sale price if something oddly gets cancelled from my order.
Just be adamant when you call that you want the movie and not a refund.

Yeah, I've gotten a damaged movie swapped out for an undamaged copy from Deep Discount before. I did my correspondence though email and had no problems at all.

I bought road house 2 and I use subtitles but the subtitles on this disc are terrible, poor spelling and some words are jibberish, must have been translated by someone who doesn't speak english very well. the subs on the previous dvd are perfect.

FYI to any Canadians, Abominable and Nemesis just dropped in price on amazon.ca. Much more reasonable around $30 than the $40 they were at previously.

I wonder about subtitles all the time. How much does it pay?

A lot of common issues with grammar. My pet peeve includes subtitles that spoil the punchline. There's no reason that a punchline can't wait until it's actually spoken.

I agree. I was surprised at how entertaining it was. It had non-stop action and incredible practical effects. The pyrotechnics were especially insane (and dangerous looking). There were a lot of "whoa!" moments for me. This movie made me go out and get Cyborg from Scream, but I like Nemesis more.

If you received actual damaged merch you should contact the retailer and exchange. They never leave our warehouse damaged. I've seen how they handle and pack product there and they are super mindful.

Got my Showdown copy from amazon.ca last night, loved it ... but the high resolution made me see background posters of other martial art gems I would love MVD to restore and release on blu-ray. These would be instant pre-order buys for me. Look for these easter egg posters during the movie:

I couldn't find a thread for MVD marquee specifically, but just noticed wowhd has a pre-order for The Big White. One of the few Robin Williams movies I've never seen, so I'll probably get this one.
