How can you tell? Mine was included with the order from Diabolik, but I ordered soon after the replacement was confirmed to be included with the order.

When I got my replacement discs I compared them and there was a noticeable difference in the audio quality; especially when there was an increase in the pitch (fight scenes - talking scenes were fine unless someone was yelling). The original had an echo that sounded like paper tearing when hits were being landed. Just skip to the fight scenes and you will know. Its not something you have to strain your ears to hear. If you play it at a reasonable volume and sit back, it is still noticeable. The hits still sound rough on the replacement disc but there is no follow-up scratchy/tearing echo.

NEMESIS is one of the best Blu-rays in recent memory. Also, it was a first time watch for me and I absolutely loved it. Super cool movie, that kind of which just isn't made anymore.
I hope that is a successful title for MVD. It's a killer release. Looking forward to the sequel disc. |

If you received actual damaged merch you should contact the retailer and exchange. They never leave our warehouse damaged. I've seen how they handle and pack product there and they are super mindful. |

I assumed it was factory because they are both damaged in the same places, in the same way, and it looks like a weird type of damage to get in the mail. Looks more like the machine screwed up putting the slipcover on or something (multiple deep thin creases across both spines). Usually don't get this type of damage (or any damage) from the deep discount mailers and it happened twice in row, both MVD Rewind titles that were released consecutively. |

I've had some issues with Deep Discount like this before. Call their customer service. State how it came damaged and you want a new one sent out. They will send one out and then make you send the damaged one back. They will also give you a return label. You just have to call and ask for this, otherwise yes its typically a refund. I've also made them give me the sale price if something oddly gets cancelled from my order. Just be adamant when you call that you want the movie and not a refund. Hope this help. -Mark |
