My point is times are changing, Best Buy always had better sales on TV's then Walmart. Super Walmart has really improved their electronics selection over the years. It still is low end low cost electroncis at Walmart.


With the high-end electronics stores closing down nationwide and Circuit City closing that carried medium quality electronics most cities now just have Best Buy and Walmart to choose from (Some people still have Ultimate Electronics). Super Walmart does have a good selection of low cost TV's but so far no true 1080P/24 models yet just normal 1080P's with 3:2 pulldown. Walmart has become the new Best Buy with the average consumer buying TV's at Walmart versus Best Buy. Best Buy is now considered the new high-end electronics store when compared to Walmart. The times are changing with retail stores closing down and a few companies getting out of the display business. In a few years the consumer will have less choices to choose from and higher prices since there will be less competition.

I noticed something interesting on the Ultimate Electronics home page, it says "Every Day We shop Walmart and Best Buy then adjust out prices to beat theirs, so you know we have the lowest Prices Period." http://www.ultimateelectronics.com/ Hopefully Ultimate Electronics stays in business, where I live my two choices in stores is Best Buy and Walmart. We should most likely start to see Walmart carry more medium quality electronics and Best Buy carry more higher end electronics to meet the demands of all the higher-end stores and Circuit City stores closing.
