Default Networking issue BD-p1600

Hi, I am new to the BD world but have quite a bit of experience on the PC side so I didn't think this would be so hard. No matter what I try I can't get my BD-p1600 to grap an IP address off DHCP. Things I have tried:

Verified that my Internet connection is working (I am posting from it now).
Turning the player on and off.
Turning my router on and off.
Switching network cables.
Using a crossover cable.
Removing all other devices from the network.
Calling my ISP (Comcast) to make sure that they weren't blocking it or needed to register the MAC address or something like that. They reset my modem and made sure DHCP was on and that there were no restrictions.
Took the original BD-p1600 I had bought yesterday and exchanged it for a new one today as I thought it was a hardware issue.
Toggled DHCP on and off to see if that would prompt it to grab an IP address.

So, as you can see I have tried quite a bit of different things to no avail. Any ideas? Anything glaring out that I am forgetting to do? Thanks in advance.
