Western Recommendations

I'd never really considered myself a fan of westerns in the past. I'd seen a few in passing over the years that I liked well enough (Tombstone and The Quick and the Dead) but I'd never been particularly interested in the genre at all.

Roughly a year ago, however, I was gifted a beautiful copy of the book True Grit by Charles Portis and enjoyed it immensely. It made me think "are there westerns I could enjoy as much as this book?" and my journey began
