Default BDP-S350 BD Data question

Was just messing around with my BDP-S350 last night on the Xross menu and went to the BD Data folder. I have a 2GB jump drive connected for my external memory and when I opened the folder, there was an individual folder for each movie I've ever watched on there. But I noticed that the second folder was named "b72e0bdc" and then a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo after that. Basically it looked like a bunch of random numbers and letters.

The reason I ask is because I've opened that BD Data folder before just for kicks and giggles and I've never noticed it before last night. Should I delete this data? All that BD Data folder holds is info from the movies you've played before right?

I know there's lots of questions there but I appreciate any feedback...
