My guess is he'll be playing Indy about 10 years younger than his actual age. That was basically the case in Kingdom of Crystal Skull.

Did you think Mark Hamill's CGI de-aging in Mandalorian was distracting? I sure did but the Deepfake algorithm they did on YouTube looked better.

That was TV budget. Marvel and Star Wars films do it pretty good.

Streached over 8 hours instead of 2…do the math. That’s much less $ per minute of screen time.

I would have no issue with de-aging if it was kept to dark and shadows, but looking at it it's going to be an entire movie opening-style action scene, I'm sure with a big *GASP* reveal of young Harrison in a Nazi uniform looking full on down the lens Marvel-style.

It's part of post-WWII Nazi conspiracy theory folklore. Some believe it exists and has been used for experimentation at Area 51. That sort of thing...
If it's true that it can manipulate time, wouldn't that in theory give the U.S. government the power to rewrite whole swathes of history?

Mangold taking over as director had no effect on the ambivalence I already felt toward another Indy movie, but now that it’s becoming more of a reality with the casting (which is solid) and set pics I’m starting to get excited for it.

Unlike the last one, this one is being made knowing it’s a “one last time” type deal, so I imagine there’s going to be a solid effort made to give him a worthy send off.

Even though Crusade is better than Skull, I actually prefer the ending to the latter with Indy and Marion tying the knot.

That’s one thing that’s amiss with this one so far. Marion doesn’t have to be involved in the adventure, but she needs to at least make an appearance. Give a glimpse at what their marriage is like.

Yup. I have problems with Crusade, more than the previous two, but at least it's a fitting ending for this product of the 1980s.

Karen Allen & John Rhys-Davies are set for cameos apparently.

None of them look good.

The Mandalorian Luke was just about passable since it was nothing more than a fan-service, RPG cut-scene type cameo.

I think The Mandalorian has a great cameo from everyone's favourite Star Wars

The one in the game looked like his head was attached to his body though.
