Hi folks... Trying to decide between the two, and at least at Circuit City there is a $400 price difference.
Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I use a projector for my blu-ray habit so this TV will be solely for use with the DirecTV HD-DVR - specifically for my NFL Sunday Ticket habit... :-) Anyway, the biggest differences are a 10bit panel vs. 8 bit - couldn't tell a difference at Tweeter - they were side by side. Next is 120hz vs 60hz. Again hard for me to tell the difference. And finally the 3000 will display 1080p 24fps. Since Directv is only 1080i I don't know that any of these differences really justify the price difference based on my planned usage. Does anyone have either of these and can you provide any insight that might help justify the $400 that I am missing? Thanks in advance for the help. |
