Default Blu-ray Transfers

Here's my opinion: Now, I'm sure that many have stated what I'm about to say - I'm sure there's plenty of threads with the same idea I have - I'm not taking away from anyone but I wanted to share my opinions of movies that get blu ray transfer

Again, this is my opinion

I think it's unrealistic for any movie that was not filmed "digitally" to get a perfect blu ray transfer

That's why everyone is in love with Transformers and Iron Man on blu ray

The older movies tend to be grainy and because most where not shot digitally, it's harder to make the transfer to a perfect PQ that we're all looking forward to

I know I'm stating "no brainer" stuff, but I wanted to give my thoughts about the subject - I'm sure there are a lot of ppl on this board that know more than me, but this is my opinion that I wanted to share

I don't get my hopes up when an old movie gets a blu ray transfer and it's not up to par with Transformers or such....With superb audio, I believe they're still better than DVD quality

I can't speak for all blu ray movies that have been released...maybe some older movies have a perfect PQ and so ppl question why other older movies can't get the same transfer

Just keep in mind that beauty is in the eye of the beholder

So everyone enjoy your blu ray movies - let's keep questioning anything and everything

In the end, I'm probably talkin' outta my butt - so...there ya go
