Yup in the 4-5 years I've used them I don't remember them ever having coupons or sales.

Maybe you should checkout this website called Deepdiscount. I think I heard somewhere that they have almost weekly discounts. Just a tip though

DD are okay, I've used them to order whatever Sony UHD boxset whenever there's a voucher going, but for standalone releases it's getting mightily expensive to import from them or wow. We used to be able to get new Lionsgate stuff for £12-£14 from wow but now the cheapest UHD (and I'm talking old catalogue stuff) with the 20% factored in is nearer £20.

One place I have found though is blowitouttahere's eBay shop, they're another wow/DD subsidiary but they have excellent prices with minimal postage costs (like a quid). Picked up several of Kino's recent UHDs for £24-ish, UHD of Juice for £19, and nabbed the Wolf of Wall Street 4K steel for £22. These aren't 'bargain' prices as such but they're better than wow.

You can get a further 15% off all blowitouttahere's ebay listings by shopping via the US link rather than UK (not sure you can do this on the mobile app, but you can on desktop):

https://www.ebay.com/sme/blowitoutah...fid=8860345806

For example, 2 WAC titles right now will cost you £34 through the US store but £40 through the UK one.

https://www.blowitoutahere.com/ is my go-to for almost all new releases. I only use DD when they have discount offers. Wowhd I have not used for almost two years.

So it looks live I've been banned from Wow-HD. Does that mean I'm automatically banned from DD, as well?

The reason for my banning is as follows. About a year and a half ago I ordered Criterion's Essential Fellini set from them and had it shipped to France where according to the tracking it fell into the hands of GLS. I contacted them to let them know I hadn't received the item even though it was marked as delivered. I then got a refund from them with no questions asked. Needless to say, I just bit the bullet and ended up ordering the Fellini set through Amazon. Fast forward to now, and I say "what the heck" and order Kino's 4K of Touch of Evil through Wow. I contact them and ask why it hasn't shipped even though I placed the order three weeks ago. They then abruptly tell me on the phone that after the Fellini set hiccup they didn't want to do business with me anymore since it had been my first order and they were out $200 on account of me. And that's after it had already been established over a year ago I hadn't received the item and was promptly refunded.

Now it's possible I just got robbed by one of my neighbors. Who knows?

I mean that sucks for you FOR SURE as I bet you are legitimate with this but even on these forums some have bragged how they snagged a free one. They are definitely being cautious for a reason but I feel you man, that sucks.

No problem, yet on their website it states you need a returns authorisation number plus to include the little packing slip inside with reason for return marked on it. They made no reference to this in the email so I've replied to clarify but guess I need to wait another 48 hours or so before I hear back.
Thanks for raising this. I was thinking of picking up The Harry Palmer Collection on imprint for £64.91.

Hadn't ordered for a while but an order from Deepdiscount has gone past it's usual approximate arrival date. Looking on my order history to get the tracking and there's no tracking number available. Is this a new thing with Wow/DD?

I ordered from wowhd a few days ago. The tracking number was in the order confirmation email. It also was in the order information on the website but didnt show up there straight away.

My last order from DD (2 BDs) came via DHL directly and not via Hermes

Yep just looked and see they are now using DHL global. Been two weeks since despatch so definitely slower, usually 8-10 days. And no available tracking number.

Just a few days ago I bought Treasure of the Four Crowns from wowhd with shipping to Portugal. Just went there to buy something else and Portugal as disappeared from the shipping options. Hope this is not permanent. There service as been amazing so far after all these years of buying stuff from them.

Same. I've sent them an e-mail but I got a standard reply about them being sorry for the inconvenience and chances of growth in the future.

Is there any other store for US titles that offers free international shipping...?

Not in the States, though sometimes if you are ordering a few DeepDiscount with a discount code works out cheaper than Wow even with shipping. That's if they still ship to Portugal as they are a sister company of Wow.

Got the same reply from them. I ended up buying from Amazon as with the shipping and tax was cheaper, but I’ll be very disappointed if my country doesn’t come back on the list. They are my main source of imported movies.

Shipping is not quick. As with a lot of companies nowadays the cheapest method is used. I received Chernobyl 4K this morning from wowhd after being shipped on the 13th May. It sat in the states for 2 weeks before being transferred to PostNL and making its way across the pond to Ireland. That seems to be pretty normal but at least there was some form of tracking.

^^it is strange at the minute as I ordered another separate order from WOW on the same day and that came over a week ago and something that was shipped from DD after the original WOW order came the other day? Guess I’ll just sit tight.
