I'm hoping it just slipped through untracked and turns up in the next few days via Hermes, but I'm not betting on it.
I had the same problem. I emailed them because once I had the same issue with their sister company Deep Discount. It said 'Data Received Shipment in Transit for over 2 weeks and Deep Discount emailed me back and said I had to wait 45 days before I contacted them again. The item never arrived and I got a full refund. The same situation happened with Wow after 6 days I emailed them and told them about what happened last time and they immediately send me another one out.

Oddly after that the other order in question updated to order placed and parcel processed. This should have happened after at least two days.

So I ended up with two and both arrived safely.

Please contact them. They should certainly send you another one out whilst you wait for your first shipment. Wow took a different approach to Deep Discount.

The item moved eventually after a week, and at the moment it's in transit to Hermes, but still, by the time I receive it we're probably looking at 3 weeks since dispatch, which is very long by their standards.

Similarly, Alligator 1 and 2 again took a week to advance past the first stage, but at least they're also in transit to Hermes now, so they might only take a couple of weeks in the end.

Yeah, now every order is exactly that 2-3 weeks. And it doesn't help when the Hermes driver delivers to the wrong house. Twice its happened to me and thankfully due to tracking and pictures I can trace where he delivered to so I can go and retrieve it! Lol.

Ha, Gold Diggers Of 1933 has just turned up, better late than never.

Not ordered off Wow for probably over a year, deliveries were always quick (6-7 days) but placed an order for Screams 4k Aligator 2 weeks back and for ten days now Hermes tracking has been stuck on ‘we are waiting for your parcel to arrive’. Is this the norm nowadays or should I be worried ?

I wouldn't worry yet, waiting a week or more in that stage is pretty common for me at the moment.

How do you track a WowHD order? I've been given the long tracking number starting with RRD but I can't seem to find a service that recognizes it.

I think RRD - as illustrated in the link Sifox211 posted above - has renamed or outsourced or sold its international shipping to ePost Global. There is an 'official' tracking page here:
https://portal.epgshipping.com/Parce...omePageTracker
but it doesn't tell you much or any more than the previous link!

In fact, sometimes the unofficial ones give you the follow-on Hermes Evri tracking number before the more official tracker does!

Has anyone recently made a return/replacement at wowhd? Somehow this is my first ever return (for damage) and I'm wondering about the returns authorisation number? It took 48 hours for their initial reply where they stated to return the item to the UK free post address and email a photo of a posting receipt so a replacement can be ordered.

No problem, yet on their website it states you need a returns authorisation number plus to include the little packing slip inside with reason for return marked on it. They made no reference to this in the email so I've replied to clarify but guess I need to wait another 48 hours or so before I hear back.

Be really careful when you're doing this. I had to send an item back, and even though I followed those steps, they told me the item hadn't been received at their depot. Luckily I'd used registered post so I was able to give them the tracking number and a screenshot showing that it had been received and signed for.

Surely that's what a proof of posting is for? I'd not be happy about paying for return postage upfront in case it doesn't get reimbursed.

Yeah don't make the mistake I made and contact them by email, get a freepost address to return item to...and then just put it in a letterbox without a receipt or anything. They won't even listen to you even though I'm sure it got there fine.

I try not to use them unless I have to because of this.

I'm ordering something from wowhd for the first time after someone on another thread said they're collecting customs upfront If I order to the E.U., but I'm at checkout and I'm not sure whether that's true or not. Can anyone clarify whether I'll have to pay extra fees when it gets to me?

I don't think that Wowhd collect customs fees upfront. For UK customers, they collect VAT upfront, but not customs fees (customs fees would only be applicable if the order was £135 or over). In the UK, because VAT is collected as part of the order, there are no Post Office charges on import.

You havn't said which EU country you are from, but the rules might be different with the Post Office for your country, though I would expect Wow to be adding VAT to your order.

You should be fine as long as the total is under €150 or whatever the EU duty limit is. The Direct2U group charge the relevant VAT depending on your country AFAIK (they certainly do for Ireland) meaning there won't be customs charges to be paid as everything will have been done in advance.

They used to have reasonable prices. Now it's quite extensive unfortunately. I don't think they have coupons or sales?

Yeah, especially stuff like Criterion. And that's even without the VAT added.

They have coupons and sales very rarely.
