I've currently got my PS3 connected via opitical to my Samsung all in one Home Theatre. I've been considering buy a proper receiver and have a couple of questions that i'm getting mixed results serching for:
1. Do I need a receiver that decodes the HD codecs or does the PS3 do this on it own therefore meaning I only need a receiver that accepts HDMI inputs. 2. If I buy a receiver that decodes the HD codecs will i get better results by letting the PS3 or the receiver do the work? 3. Whats the settings do I need to adjust on the PS3 to get the best results. 4. Any suggestions on a receiver, £200 - £250 (maybe a little more for the right kit) Sorry for all the questions but I've been feeling for a while that I'm missing a huge part of the Blu-Ray experience with my current set up. |
